Working with a personal trainer is an awesome tool that gives you accountability and direction when you’re just not sure what to do next. However, I believe that fitness training is only a piece of the puzzle when it comes to losing and maintaining a healthy weight*. This is why I offer life coaching as a part of my personal training approach when it comes to weight loss.
Weight loss is often a result of deeper emotional issues. Food is a coping mechanism that many of us turn to for feelings like sadness, loneliness, stress, and even happy emotions like celebrating a promotion or accomplishing a hard task. Many of us don’t even realize the link that food has to our feelings, and we eat our way into an unhealthy weight without even knowing how or why it happened.
My life coaching services are designed to help you work through your emotions in a healthy way without turning to food. I will ask the big questions that others won’t and help you get to the root of the problem. I understand that my clients need to work through emotional issues to get to a place where they are able to make the life changes necessary to achieve their weight loss goals*.
